Anne's Coo Contemplation Kitchen Splashback
Gary and Ann chose this Highland cow glass splashback to create a striking feature behind their hob. The soft neutral tones of the stone wall design blend beautifully with their kitchen, while the Highland cow adds plenty of character.
Gary and Ann were kind enough to share this fantastic photo of their finished kitchen after ordering a bespoke Highland cow glass splashback from Vivid Splashbacks.
They chose a design featuring a Highland cow peering over a rustic stone wall, and it works particularly well in their kitchen. The soft greys, whites and natural tones within the image blend seamlessly with the surrounding worktops and cabinetry, while the Highland cow creates a striking focal point behind the hob.
A bespoke splashback made to fit
Gary and Ann required their splashback at 900mm x 750mm. To make the original artwork work perfectly at this size, we carried out additional design work to extend the sides of the image while keeping the Highland cow correctly positioned in the centre.
This is one of the advantages of choosing a made-to-measure printed glass splashback. Rather than simply cropping an image to fit, we can often adjust and adapt the artwork to suit the proportions of the required splashback and create a much more natural finished result.
A brilliant finishing touch
The finished splashback looks right at home beneath the black extractor hood, with the stone wall appearing almost as though it continues naturally into the kitchen. The detailed Highland cow gives the room personality without overpowering the clean, modern surroundings.
