Rowena’s Folk Farmyard Rangemaster Splashback

Rowena wanted a countryside-inspired splashback that would feel right at home in her lovely traditional kitchen, and this finished result could hardly suit the space better.

She chose our Folk Farmyard design, which is full of charm and detail. The artwork features cows, horses, sheep and chickens woven through rolling green countryside, with little cottages, winding paths, trees and a flowing river creating a real sense of depth and character.

A perfect match for a country-style kitchen

The finished splashback works beautifully with Rowena’s kitchen. The earthy greens, warm reds and soft blues within the design tie in wonderfully with the painted blue cabinetry, natural timber worktops and cream Rangemaster cooker.

Installed behind the range, the splashback adds plenty of interest and personality while still preserving that relaxed country kitchen feel. It looks decorative and eye-catching without feeling out of place, which is exactly what makes this kind of design work so well.

Adapted for a larger Rangemaster space

This splashback was made to measure at 1096mm x 847mm and was designed to sit behind a larger 100cm Rangemaster cooker within a recessed nook.

Because of the wider and taller space, we needed to carry out extra artwork adjustments to expand the design so it would fit the area properly while still looking balanced. This meant Rowena could have the countryside scene she loved, adapted to suit the proportions of her kitchen rather than simply cropped to fit.

That is one of the real benefits of a bespoke printed glass splashback. We can often adjust and rework the artwork so it feels natural in the finished space, especially when fitting around larger cookers or unusual wall areas.

A splashback full of charm and detail

There is so much to enjoy in this design, from the farm animals and cottages to the trees and meandering paths. It gives the kitchen a warm, welcoming feel and creates a real focal point behind the cooker.

We especially love how well it complements the overall style of Rowena’s kitchen. It looks as though it was made for the room, which makes it a fantastic example of how the right splashback can help tie a whole kitchen scheme together.
