Bob and Charlie’s Highland Chef Kitchen Splashback

Bob and Charlie were looking for something fun, unique and full of personality for their kitchen, and their finished splashback certainly delivers exactly that.

They loved our Highland chef theme but could not decide on just one design, so after working together through a few different ideas and layout options, the final concept included three Highland chef characters instead. Set on a clean white background and finished with the playful quote “No beef with the chef!” across the top, the completed splashback creates a fantastic focal point above the hob.

A bespoke design created together

This splashback was made to measure at 900mm x 750mm. Bob and Charlie had a clear idea of the style they wanted, but we worked with them through several attempts to refine the artwork and arrive at the final design.

The end result brings together three cute Highland cow chefs, each with their own character, helping to create a light-hearted and original kitchen feature. The central chef holding the saucepan naturally draws the eye, while the two side characters balance the design beautifully.

Fun, unique and full of character

The white background keeps the overall look fresh and clean, allowing the artwork and quote to stand out without overwhelming the space. It works particularly well in the kitchen setting, adding warmth and humour while still looking neat and stylish.

This is a great example of how a bespoke printed glass splashback can be used to showcase personality as well as practicality. Rather than choosing a standard splashback, Bob and Charlie created something tailored to their own taste and sense of fun.
